Lamberts Probioguard is a milk-free probiotic supplement containing 4 billion bacteria per capsule (at the time of manufacture).
The unique combination of probiotics in Probioguard includes Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Streptococcus thermophilus and Lactobacillus delbrueckii.

The bacteria in Probioguard are dried at high temperatures and encapsulated in enteric-coated delayed-release capsules.

These capsules are made from an acid-resistant enteric-coated polysaccharide matrix which ensures that the bacteria remain viable during transit through the stomach and successfully colonise the gut.

Probioguard is recommended in situations where the balance between friendly and pathogenic bacteria in the intestinal microbiome is disturbed. Of these situations, the combination of friendly bacteria in Probioguard has been studied extensively in situations where the microbiome disturbance is due to a change in dietary habits (such as traveling abroad).
It can also be used by people taking antibiotics and by people who often experience flatulence (bloating).

Usage:

Take 2 capsules daily or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.
Take with a glass of water, preferably in the morning after waking up, when the stomach pH is less acidic. Do not take with hot drinks, as heat kills bacteria.
